Service Project for 2009

Pinellas Hope is a partnership Catholic charity that is a temporary shelter that provides homeless men and women privacy and a safe place to leave their belongings during the day or while they are at work.

As a high school youth group we first visited Pinellas Hope in December 2008 to help during their annual Homeless Memorial Service to pray for those homeless in our community who died. While there we noticed that socks were a precious commodity. There are never enough. One of our service goals for 2009 is to collect men and women's socks and bring them to Pinellas Hope approximately every 6 weeks.

Please help us help the homeless in our community.

DONATE WHITE TUBE (ATHLETIC) SOCKS FOR MEN AND WOMEN.

The high school youth ministry will collect them from the vestibule of the church every Sunday after the 5:00 pm Mass. Look for collection bins soon.
